What makes you different than the discount real estate companies I see around town?
First of all, we are committed to helping sellers pocket the money they would be paying in real estate commissions by providing them with all the tools they need to sell on their own. Many other so-called "assistance" programs are actually discount brokers, who will charge you a fee that varies based on the price of your home, as well as a commission if they find the buyer for your home. Our counselors are licensed real estate professionals, but do not compete with you to find your buyer or charge a commission to represent both you and the buyer. This program is committed to being the bargaining adversary for YOU, the seller.

Secondly, our program was founded by a Yale educated real estate lawyer, and is not a franchised real estate chain, so our focus is on customer service and providing you with all the legal compliance and peace of mind to sell on your own. How much money can I save?
Our clients saved an amazing $12,600 on average last year using the FSBOAP. That’s higher than any average we’ve seen from any discount real estate program! The reason our average is so high is because the majority of our clients sell without ever paying a commission, even if their buyer is represented by a real estate agent. It is money that is rightfully theirs and paid in cash at closing.

And that’s just the average savings. On a $300,000 home clients can save over $15,000 compared to paying a 6% commission. That’s

How much time and work does it take?
You will be doing some of the work your real estate agent would be doing, but you will make great money while you’re at it! If your house was on the market 28 days and you spent a couple hours a day selling on your own, you would make $225 an hour based on our clients average savings. Imagine if it sells in just a few days (which is not uncommon in this market); that's a great
part-time job!

Why do your clients sell faster and close faster than agents?
Our clients do not have to go through the “offer...counter-offer...offer” process that is so common between two agents in a typical real estate transaction. Our clients also close faster because they do not deal with all the details that can end up delaying a transaction
when two agents are involved.

Can we pay for your program at closing?
Our method of payment is another key difference that sets us apart from discount brokers or “assistance” programs. We are not an agency, therefore we collect a fee for services rendered. This is for your benefit and we have a complete Money Back Guarantee, so there is no risk. See, discount brokers require you to sign an Exclusive Listing form, which makes them your agent and allows them to collect your fee at closing. This listing often states that you will pay them a commission if they find your buyer. We do not believe this is the best way to help owners who want to sell on their own and save money. The listing agreement these companies have you sign also has a termination date, when half of the program fee is often due, whether you sell your home or not. We have NO termination date and are with you for as long as it takes.

How do your clients find a buyer?
That’s the easy part! Using our marketing program and plenty of brochures, our clients find their buyers quickly, easily and 90% of them never pay a commission to a buyer’s agent!
